SHAPED BY SOUND

As Creative Director, I led the creative vision for Shaped by Sound—an immersive, one-day experience in NYC produced by Max and Spotify in celebration of Black Music Month. Developed in collaboration with the teams at HBO and Team Epiphany, the activation transformed Hall des Lumières using 360° projection mapping to explore the cultural legacy of Black music across entertainment. Each room offered a unique lens: from a mirrored vault showcasing iconic concert moments, to curated film/TV scenes paired with defining tracks, to a nostalgic tribute to ‘90s sitcoms and their unforgettable soundtracks. The experience extended digitally through Spotify Frequency playlists and wrapped with a rooftop lounge featuring regional DJ sets and surprise performances byvHip Hop artists Monaleo and Cash Cobain.
