DOLLAR & A DREAM

For the return of Dreamville’s Dollar & A Dream series—this time headlined by J.I.D to usher in his new album God Does Like Ugly—we’re crafting an announcement film that leans into the spirit of revival. The visual takes inspiration from the pulpit, with a preacher spreading the word like gospel, calling the masses to gather. Using the cadence of a sermon, the film weaves urgency and prophecy, cutting between the preacher’s booming message and scenes of everyday people answering the call. It’s a cinematic nod to the tradition of tent revivals, but reframed in New York City’s Washington Square Park. The film doesn’t just announce tour dates—it summons a congregation, reminding fans that God Does Like Ugly and the Dollar & A Dream ethos are about bringing everyone into the fold.
